Can I remove "this is a recorded line" from the greeting?
No — this disclosure is a legal requirement that varies by state.
However, you can customize the rest of your greeting in the Greeting Editbox. Your AI Agent will always read your custom greeting after the required “recorded line” message.
💡 Tip: Some Kea customers like to add a friendly intro such as,
“Hi there! This is Bella, your virtual cashier. How can I help you today?”
This helps callers understand they’re speaking with an AI and makes the “recorded line” message feel more natural.
