Square

Connect kea AI to Square POS to send orders directly to your point-of-sale and kitchen.

First make sure you are logged into your kea account at app.kea.ai. When entering your account on the Brand Overview, click the first location you would like to connect. Make sure your locations have an address added.

This setup takes around 5-10 minutes. Once connected, any updates to your Point-of-Sale system will automatically sync with our menu application, ensuring the AI has the latest information.

Location Overview

  1. On the Location Overview, at the bottom right of the page, you will see a section called Location Menu.

  2. Click “Connect Menu Source” and a modal will appear letting you know that you are going to connect via our menu application. Click “Connect” to proceed. This will open up a new tab to use our kea menu application.

Menu Application Setup

  1. When inside the menu application, you will see the option to “Connect POS”.

  2. Select Square as your Point-of-Sale you would like to connect.

  3. From here, follow the integration steps on the screen to login into Square by clicking “Connect POS”.

  4. You will log into Square and authorize kea AI to access your point-of-sale system.

  5. After authorizing you will come back to the kea menu app and select the Square locations you want to import. Select all or select the locations you want to map to your kea locations.

  6. After confirming locations you will start to see your menus and items inside the kea menu app. Follow the next section below to tie these locations to kea Voice AI locations.

Tie kea Voice AI Locations to Square Locations

  1. At the top right click “Connect Delivery Partner” or the kea icon.

  2. Click the kea icon one more time to Connect DSP. This will take you to a page to click “Authorize”. This is a key step to allow you to link Square locations to kea locations.

  3. From here tie the Square locations to your kea Voice AI locations. Click “Submit” to finalize the connection.

  4. Congrats! Your Square locations are now connected to your kea Voice AI locations!

  5. You can now go back to your brand portal tab and see that the location synced with your Square POS menu.

  6. Once connected, any updates to your Point-of-Sale system will automatically sync with our menu application, ensuring the AI has the latest information.

Editing Location connections

Adding new locations and connections to menu sources is easy. When creating a new location in kea, follow the steps above.

Inside the menu application, you can visit the POS integration connection by clicking your top right avatar and then click settings.
